How Does Light Therapy Work?

Light therapy works by using red and blue lights, which both reduce acne in different ways.

The red light reduces the inflammation that your skin experiences when you have a spot or an acne flare up.

Meanwhile, the blue light targets and kills the bacteria on your skin which cause acne.

Use In 3 Easy Steps:

Step 1.
Before using the device for the first time, use the screwdriver to open the bottom of the device to insert your battery (battery not included).

Step 2.
Press and hold the power button for a FULL second until the device beeps once to begin treatment.

Step 3.
Turn on the device. Hold it over your treatment area for 2 minutes—it will automatically switch off when your treatment is complete!

What Is The Recommended Treatment When I Get A Blemish?

We suggest applying treatment from your Anti - Acne device twice every day, once when you wake up and once before you go to bed.

A treatment session consists of 2 minutes of blue light and red light together.
If you miss a treatment session it's ok, just be sure to leave at least 8 hours between treatments.

How Far Should I Hold The Device During Treatment?

Hold the tip of the device softly against the blemish you wish to treat. If you prefer, you can also hold the tip 1 cm or 1/2 inch away from the blemish.

Can I Use This Treatment If I Have Severe Acne?

Our Anti-Acne Pen can be used by those with severe acne but results may take longer to show.
If you do have severe acne, speak to your doctor or pharmacist for further advice and treatment options.

How To Clean This Product

You can clean it by moistening a soft cloth with a little isopropyl alcohol. Use the cloth to clean the head of the device after each use. Do not get wet or get water or liquid into any part of this product.
